Eva holds a masters degree in Statistics and a PhD in Political Science from the University of Vienna. She has worked for many years in applied electoral research in Austria and has published on Austrian elections results. Her research interests cover political participation and electoral behaviour as well as young people’s political participation and civic education. Methodologically, Eva concentrates on survey design, instrument development and quantitative data analysis, exploratory methods as well as linear and non-linear regression.

Eva is part of the team working on the Austrian National Election Study (www.autnes.at) and is project leader of the small pilot study on political socialization (APPLE).
